The office of the Vital Records Section in Florida can provide you a copy of a divorce certificate if the year is not earlier than 1927. Records before that have to be requested at the county clerk’s office where the separation was registered. Sending a mail request is also possible. All of the requirements for the application have to be enclosed on the envelope for it to be processed and to avoid further delay and hassle.
